Connections & Connect Groups

Are you new to FAC or been coming for a while and would like to meet and connect with others?

One of the best ways to find out more about what it means to belong to the community at FAC and how to get connected (or better connected), is by coming along to one of our Connections morning teas. You'll also have an opportunity to meet other people who are new to FAC, and in this small group setting, be able to meet and chat with some of our staff team. The morning tea is generally held once a term, directly after our 10am service. We'd love to invite you to join us! To find the date of the next Connections morning tea and to register, email Jo Brain

Do you have a heart to WELCOME and CONNECT with new people coming to FAC?

Join a WELCOME team!

This involves serving once a month at your regular Sunday service by greeting people as they arrive at church and then connecting with new people after the service in our Welcome Lounge.

This involves serving once a month by being available directly after your regular service to help people with their inquiries and sell CDs, tickets or books at our Information Desk located in the corner of the entry foyer.

Training and ongoing support is provided for each of these ministry areas! For more information or to chat about what's involved in joining a team email Jane Major-Smith.

A group who gather for a meal on the 2nd Friday of the month at the Collegians Rugby League Club / Charlotte St, Wollongong to connect and meet with other members of FAC.

"So reach out and welcome one another to God's glory. Jesus did it; now you do it!" Romans 15.7

A great way to meet new people and to build relationships is to spend time with others who have similar interests. At FAC we have several Connect Groups which exists to provide an easy way for people who do not regularly attend church, to connect with us around common interests.

Creative Connections

Creative Connections is an outreach ministry which runs Tuesdays during schools terms - 9:30am to 12noon at Figtree Anglican. It's an opportunity to connect with others through the common interest of craft, with a range of classes on offer. For more info, contact the church office.

Our FAC soccer teams are part of the local Christian Soccer League; an opportunity for FAC players to invite others into the club and build genuine friendships. For more info about joining a team, contact the church office

FAC Riders

FAC Riders are a mixed group of road and off road cyclists who share a love of cycling together. They generally meet (faithfully) on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday at 6am. Training rides are common, as they prepare for competitions in a range of locations. For more details, contact the church office.
