DESCRIPTION:Information is moving faster than ever. Not only this\, but it is so easy for ‘information providers’ to provide selective information\, or outright falsehoods. AI\, the speed of information\, the monetisation of social media feeds\, and an increasingly polarised world have all exacerbated this. \nAs young adults in Wollongong\, how do we know what’s really true? \nCome along to our Young Adults teaching night to explore this issue with a special focus on the Gospel of John. In John’s Gospel\, Jesus makes bold claims about truth\, life\, and who He is. We’re going to explore how Jesus defines truth in John’s gospel and look for His wisdom on how to live faithfully in the misinformation age. \nThe night will involve an exploration and analysis of our current cultural moment\, a Bible talk\, and an open Q&A. \nAll welcome! \nDate: Tuesday\, 10 MarchTime: 7pmLocation: Figtree Anglican Church foyer
