World Missions Conference

Planting Hope

8-16th August 2020

More than ever in 2020, our world needs hope. Our hope in Jesus, that we share with our local community also brings hope to the world. Our annual World Missions Conference is a week for us to focus on gospel mission outside our city and be a part of Planting Hope.

The purpose of the conference is:

  • Build Our Biblical Understanding of Mission
  • Challenge us to be active in Mission
  • Raise prayer and support for our Mission Partners

This year many of the conference elements will be online and will feature our 5 Key Mission Partners who will be sharing across our online events, and that you will have a chance to support through prayer and giving.

Our key Mission Partners for 2020 are:

  • MOCLAM - Online Theological training for the Spanish speaking world
  • The Bible Society - Equipping indigenous Bible translators
  • EE Hope For Kids in Ethiopia
  • Friends in Dubai
  • Mitch & Ashley Deans  - Raising gospel workers through EE Changemakers

For more information about our 2020 Mission Partners download the PDF booklet below.

Giving To Our Mission Partners

In 2020, we recognise the financial uncertainty we all face, as do our Mission Partners, so our desire is to see that our Mission partners needs are met. We ask you to consider giving to our general Mission Fund, that Ian and the Wardens will divide up according to the needs of each of our partners along these  percentage lines:

2020 Mission Partners Mission Needs Mission Needs by % of Total
MOCLAM $15,000 18.75%
Bible Society - Nungalinya Tanslators $20,000 25%
EE Hope For Kids in Ethiopia $10,000 12.5%
Friends in Dubai $25,000 31.25%
Mitch & Ashley Deans - EE Changemakers $10,000 12.5%

During this season, you can also allocate your giving to a selected partner. By doing so, you also give permission for Ian and the Wardens to distribute those funds to one of the other mission partners where there is need.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7
