Want to see God at work in another part of the world? In July 2027, Figtree Anglican Church is sending a team of youth and young leaders to Fiji to worship, learn and share the gospel alongside local church youth leaders using EE4G. Come and be stretched, challenged, and changed.
DETAILS
- Date: Sat 10 – Sun 18 July 2027
- Location: Nadi, Fiji
- Cost: Approximately $2,500 per person, which covers flights and ground costs. This is the projected max cost. The final cost will depend on the number of participants.
- Deposit: A $200 deposit is required to secure your place.
- Early bird flights: Book before 8 December to lock in the best flight rates.
Purposes of the trip:
- To partner, learn, and grow with Fijian youth and young leaders on God’s mission
- To grow in faith and ability to share Jesus in everyday life
- To experience how God is at work in another country and culture
- To know God more and grow in relationship with him
- To understand our own culture better by seeing another one
- To come home with new Fijian friends and a global perspective on God’s mission around the world
Who can come?
If you’re in Year 10 or older, you can apply. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be keen to grow, serve, and see what God does.
Preparing as a team:
- All participants will need to attend the training meetings, as well as the Gerringong Evangelism Weekend Away on Sat 1 – Sun 2 May 2027. These times are a big part of getting ready together, so put them in your diary now.
- Everyone on the team who is 18 or over will need a Working with Children Check and to complete Safe Ministry Training.
