Figtree Kids

Faithful • Adventurous • Compassionate

At FAC, our vision is to lead children into a personal relationship with Jesus, by running age appropriate programs where biblical truths are taught in ways that are both fun and interactive. Our dedicated teams of leaders and LiTs (leaders in training) are diligent in working to ensure a loving, safe learning environment is provided for kids of all ages.
We love to partner with our parents, in teaching their kids about Jesus. To help with this we have created connect packs; these contain activities which complement those done on Sundays.

Playtime

Playtime is a fun and welcoming space for parents & carers to bring their babies and children (newborn to pre-school). It is a great way for children to make friends and develop social skills, and a place for parents & carers to chat and support one another over a cup of coffee.

Playtime is open to our church families as well as families from the community.

Jenny grew up in Sydney and the Southern Highlands. She is married to Tony and together they have 7 children and 8 grandchildren. They have lived in a number of locations, returning to Wollongong in 2014. Jenny trained as a Food and Textiles High School teacher but has spent the last 30+ years also involved in ministry to kids. She has always had a love of teaching kids and training others to do the same. This passion saw her join the children’s ministry team in 2015, where she counts it a privilege to create a fun environment where kids can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. Food, gardening, family and kayaking are some of her favourite things (not in that order!)
