Girls’ Gig in the Garden

Come and celebrate International Women’s Day with a girls’ gig in the garden!
With the beautiful green backdrop of nature, the very talented Michelle Beavan and friends will entertain us with with some classic hits, girls’ anthems, and quality originals.
We’ll hear stories from Alice, a sister from the Solomon Islands, and Kelly Alexander will share a reflection on “Women’s Business” – shared wisdom, healing, and faith.
We have an ice-cream truck serving cups of frozen yogurt, sorbet, or ice cream with yummy toppings to load, yogurt bar style, and included in your ticket! Bring the favourite women in your life and enjoy a fun afternoon with us.
BYO picnic blanket or chair.
Proceeds from the event will be going to The Christian Care Centre in the Solomon Islands. They are the county’s sole provider of short term shelter for women and children affected by domestic violence.

Location: On the lawn behind the rear carpark at Figtree Anglican Church
Tickets are $15 per person. Available for all women aged 15 and up.
