Mission
Just as God sent Jesus into the world, so He sends us to share the good news of Jesus with others. Our mission ministries invite every member to be part of gospel work beyond Wollongong, whether across Australia or overseas. We are all encouraged to Go, Send, and Serve, …”to the ends of the earth”.
Our annual World Missions Conference is a week where we focus as a church on gospel mission beyond Wollongong. The purpose of the conference is to build our biblical understanding of mission; challenge us to be active in mission; and to raise prayer and support for our key Mission Partners. Over the week, we hear from each of our Mission Partners and have an opportunity to give on the final Sunday of the conference.
The 2025 World Missions Conference will run from 16-24 August with the theme of ‘Restoration’.

Mission Trips
Mission trips give members a chance to take part in mission work around the world. These are great opportunities to sever together in another region of the world, to be discipled, and build a vision for the opportunities for serving in global mission.
In July 2026, Figtree Anglican Church is sending a team to Nadi, Fiji to work with EE Fiji.
For more information about ministry trips or to get involved, please contact Langdon Stewart or the church office.
