Easter 2019 - Restored

Easter Changed Everything. In particular the simple fact that because of the death resurrection of Jesus, we now have a restored relationship with God. Yes, this means that people have to put their faith in Jesus. At Easter 2019, we will see two of the most profound aspects of God working in and through His Son. The reality of His sacrifice and the power of hope. As a result of both we are truly “Restored”.

Grace, Faith and the Power of the Gospel

The Book of Romans is not only the most profound book in the Bible, it is the most profound book in existence. It has been appropriately termed the “Cathedral of the Christian faith.” Many theologians describe it as the most important document ever written. The book of Romans is the most complete explanation of what the gospel is in the entire Bible – it gives, by far, the clearest and fullest exposition of the doctrines of sin and grace.

This 7-week series will seek to bring ongoing clarity to our 2020 Vision as we explore what it means to have a growing confidence that Jesus will build His church. As we head into 2019, our focus for the coming year will be on Kingdom Seeds. It has become increasingly important we accept our part in God’s plan and plant seeds for future generations.

For the Kingdom of God to grow in the Illawarra and beyond, seeds need to be sown and planted now. In doing this we will discover whether we believe that the Kingdom of heaven is truly our treasure.
