Figtree Youth is the youth ministry of FAC. It’s made up of a dynamic program on Friday night for the different year groups, where youth (year 6 to 12) can hang out together in a positive and engaging peer environment. For those in years 7-10 who are keen to find out more about Jesus through dipping into God’s word; to be encouraged and challenged on what it means to ‘live life to the full’, then come along to FUEL (LifeGroup for youth) held Sunday nights from 4pm.
Details to come and Registrations open in September
Ignite is Figtree Anglican Church's annual youth camp. It is about bringing our youth community together and having the greatest time. When you are there you’ll be challenged by new experiences, be supported by your leaders and be given the opportunity to check out, or go deeper, into the life and truth that Jesus Christ says he is.
Ignite has been going for 11 years and is organised and run by an amazing team of youth leaders, our tech team, house parents (and their really cute kids), camp nurse, youth pastor and site director.
If you are in Year 7 – 12 in 2018 we are going to do our best to make sure you have a great start to the year at Ignite 2018!
Can't wait to see you there!
Your Ignite Team
FUEL is a youth-based bible study - which serves as an extension to our Friday night youth hangs. Each year group has dedicated youth leaders who go through different books of the bible throughout the year. It’s an awesome chance to dig deeper into God’s word and have some cool discussions! We meet at 4, then head to FUSE at 6pm.
If you’re interested in coming along, contact one of the youth team so they can connect you with the appropriate year leader.
It runs every Friday arvo of the school term. There are two time slots for Youth. Jnr youth runs from 6-7:30pm for years 6 to 8 and yr 9-12s come hang out from 8-10pm. It happens here at the church. We spend time together as Senior and Junior during Big Group Time (BGT) and then break up into our years. For those in who are keen to find out more about Jesus through dipping into God’s word; to be encouraged and challenged on what it means to ‘live life to the full’, then come along to FUEL (LifeGroups for youth) held Sunday nights from 4pm.
If you’re interested in coming along, contact Myles ([email protected]) so they can connect you with the appropriate year leader.
If you'd like more information about what we do at Youth and/or FUEL, please call the Church office and ask for Myles (Youth Minister) or Peter (Youth Intern).
