Mount Kembla

Since 1858, each Sunday morning, a small but faithful community of believers has gathered for a traditional Anglican service held in the beautiful, heritage Soldiers’ and Miners’ Memorial Church (built in 1932) located in the village of Mt Kembla. A small Sunday School operates at the same time, in the local primary school. A traditional Anglican Prayer Book service is held at 9:30am each Sunday.

This service was started in partnership with St John’s Keiraville with the specific purpose (due to the location of the church), of reaching international students studying at the University of Wollongong. It is a wonderful opportunity for sharing the gospel with people from many nations, who are often hearing about Jesus for the very first time. The Sunday service of Keiraville International Church is held at 6pm.
