Connecting • Community
One of the best ways to find out more about what it means to belong to the community at Figtree Anglican Church is to come along to one of our Connections morning or afternoon teas. You'll have an opportunity to meet others who are new to our church, and chat with some of our staff team. We'd love to invite you to join us!

Creative Connections is a weekly crafting group for beginners to experts and is loved by those who attend for its relaxed community atmosphere. Every week the halls of our old building are filled with people doing embroidery, cross stitch, sewing, knitting, painting, card making, scrapbooking, quilting and more! Feel free to come along on a Tuesday Morning from 9:30am, all skill levels welcome.
Our FAC football teams are part of the local Christian league; an opportunity for FAC players to invite others into the club and build genuine friendships. Figtree Anglican Church has been fielding a number of teams in the local Illawarra Churches Soccer Association for over 30 years.

We value each person who comes to our Sunday services and we aim to have our welcome reflect the way God welcomes us all into His Kingdom. While it is every member's responsibility to welcome, each of our Sunday services has a dedicated team of Welcomers who serve before, during and after each service to make sure everyone is well connected. They especially look out for those who are new or visiting, as well as encourage and assist regular members of our congregation. We are always looking for people with a heart to connect others into the life of our church to join one of our welcoming teams.
