Our desire at Figtree Anglican Church is that men and women of all ages and stages of life are valued and encouraged in their faith, with special events and activities across the year to assist in building us into a passionate community of believers. Throughout the year, these events or activities will be advertised on our Events page.
At Figtree Anglican Church we place a high value on encouraging men in their roles within family life, community, workplaces, and in our church. A number of events are held across the year to support this, including Fellas & Food nights, teaching nights, our quarterly Men's Schnitty Nights, and the Gong Men's Day, an annual event for men to gather together to be encouraged in how to live a godly life.
The Shed is LifeGroups for men, to meet around God's word and encourage each other; to build each other up in identity, integrity and influence. Come around for a bit of Shed time as we work on practical Christian living as men at different ages and stages of life.
The Shed meets at Figtree Anglican Church on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30pm. Contact jo.brain@figtree.church.
Fellas & Food is an evening of good food and engaging speakers that kick-starts each year for our men. Stay tuned for the next event.
Women are valued at Figtree Anglican Church and we want to encourage each other in ways that are special and unique for us. Our Women's Ministry leadership team have exciting things planned throughout the year that include opportunities to meet cross-generationally, deepen our faith, and share the gospel with other women.

Women Alive (WA) is part of our LifeGroups ministry, where women of all ages gather together in small groups around God’s word. As we study God's word and encourage one another, we desire to become more like Christ and that through this transformation, we become significant influencers in our family, church, and the wider community.
Women Alive meets on Thursday mornings, during school terms, at Figtree Anglican Church from 9:30am to 11:30am. A creche is available. Contact jo.brain@figtree.church
Praying Mums is a group for women of all ages with a passion to meet regularly to pray intentionally for their families, children and grandchildren.
Praying Mums alternates between connecting over the phone and meeting at Figtree Anglican Church during school terms, Mondays, 7-8pm.

We have a number of events throughout the year for our women and women in the community. These include a Women's Retreat, a topical teaching series, and a fun Christmas event. Visit the Events page for details about upcoming events.
FIGS is a group for early retirees/seniors. FIGS hold monthly outings to encourage fellowship and friendships, as well as being a great opportunity for inviting friends who are not part of the Figtree Anglican Church community. But more than a social group, FIGS is about growing spiritually and developing ministry skills for serving. The group also hold their annual house party (camping/glamping) in February and other growth events throughout the year.
